The purpose of our company is to provide the best possible service to our customers. This specific online store (e-shop) allows both our customers and all Internet users to be promptly informed about the products offered by our company and to make their purchases electronically.

In order to conduct any transaction through our company's online store and place orders for its products, the disclosure of certain customer personal data will be required. During the ordering process, the customer's full name, shipping address of the products, billing address of the order (if different from the shipping address), billing details (if invoice payment is selected), a contact telephone number, your email address, and in cases where payment is made by credit card, the card number, expiration date, and the three-digit security code will be requested.

Users can find more information about each product by clicking on the product icon. Our company ensures the timely updating of customers regarding the availability of products but bears no responsibility for their availability. Our company makes every effort daily to provide all the necessary information about each product (technical specifications, prices, etc.). However, to limit any errors, we would advise you, before completing any purchase, to communicate with us in cases where the prices or any other characteristic of the product is beyond the ordinary and reasonable. The prices listed in the relevant catalogs next to each product include the price with the applicable VAT. In certain areas of Greece where reduced VAT rates apply and if your purchase is made with an invoice, the prices of the products are lower than those listed, due to the reduced VAT.
Our company reserves the right to adjust the prices of its online store without being obliged to inform the consumer.


PRODUCT ORDERING AND CONSUMER PROTECTION

Orders through the online store www.saltymoon.gr constitute remote sales contracts governed by the legislative framework of Law 2251/1994 (as applicable today) and the amendments referred to in PD 131/2003 (Government Gazette A' 116/16.05.2003) and Decision 31619 Government Gazette 969/22.3.2017, as well as the adaptation of Greek legislation to Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 25, 2011, regarding consumer rights, amending Directive 93/13/EEC of the Council and Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, and repealing Directive 85/577/EEC of the Council and Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, which was published in the Official Journal of the European Union, with number L 304 of 22.11.2011, as implemented from 13/06/2014.
The user has the right to validly place an order through the online store, provided that they are legally capable according to the provisions of the Greek Civil Code (if they have reached the eighteenth year of age and are not under judicial support for the conclusion of a sales contract). Orders can also be placed by legal representatives of legal entities. Our company reserves the right to demand the return of any orders placed by legally incapable persons from their supervisor or guardian.


Ordering Process via the Online Store

To place an order on our online store, the following steps are required:

  • Completion of the Special Form with Necessary Details for the Sales Agreement
  • Unconditional Acceptance of the Terms of Sale and Terms of Use:

On all pages of the online store www.saltymoon.gr, next to each product available for purchase, there is the "Add to Cart" button. Navigate to our online store and add to your cart the products you wish to purchase. To continue your shopping, select from the main categories the one that contains the next type of product you are looking for and also add it to your cart. When you have finished adding products, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button. You do not need to be a member of the www.saltymoon.gr online store to place an order, but we would advise you to become one, as the entire process will be much easier for any future use of our online store. Fill in the username and password you provided during registration and select "LOGIN" in the member area. If you are not a member, click the button
to create a new account and fill in the new member registration form with an active email account. The email you provide must be valid as our communication will also be through the email you provided during registration. Even if you do not become a member, you will be asked for personal details such as: billing and shipping address, email, contact phone number, information necessary for the conclusion and completion of the contract between the two parties.


Order Process

The order is completed in 5 steps:

  • Confirmation and submission of the order

In case there is any pending issue with your order, we will contact you using the details you provided. If you do not receive a confirmation email for your order or notification via phone, it is your responsibility to inform us without delay, as there may be a problem with the contact information you provided. Our company bears no responsibility if you have entered incorrect contact details, resulting in the inability to contact you.

Returns / Exchanges / Cancellations

Return Policy

The terms and conditions described in this policy apply to all products purchased in Greece through the online store www.saltymoon.gr.

Order Cancellation

When you place an order through the online store www.saltymoon.gr, you have the option to cancel your order on the same day that you placed it. For any product returns, you can send us your request in writing via email at hello@saltymoon.gr. For any information you need, you can contact us using the contact details provided on our website. The products you wish to return must be in perfect condition, with sealed packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning the products unless the product falls under warranty issues due to manufacturing defects. If you open the product's packaging, you must ensure to return it in perfect condition, along with all parts and accessories it consists of.
You agree to take care of the condition of the returned products from the moment they are delivered to you until the moment you deliver them to our store or to the courier company. Our company is not responsible for defects or poor quality of the products provided to our customers. All products are received from suppliers in packaged condition. In the event that a proven defective product is found among the delivered products, you retain the right to return and replace it at our expense. If not returned within 15 days, then our company may not accept any return or replacement of the product. In any case, the maximum return period for replacement cannot be extended beyond fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of receipt. In addition to the rights provided by the return policy, all rights recognized for consumers by existing provisions and laws regarding the sales contract are acknowledged in every case, as well as any rights arising in relation to product warranty terms.

Return Transportation

If you wish to return goods due to a change of mind, you are responsible for the immediate return costs of the products. The collection of the returned products will only be made from the address you initially provided for their shipment and which you have indicated to us in writing.
You agree to provide our company with as much detail as possible about the pickup address of the goods, such as floor number, courier access difficulties, the presence of an elevator, narrow stairs, etc., to facilitate the pickup process from the location you will designate. You agree that there will be suitable access to the premises for the collection of the returned goods.
If the courier considers that the collection of the products from the designated location may cause damage to your property, they will inform you verbally and record it on the pickup form. You may instruct the cooperating transport/courier company to collect the products despite this indication; however, we will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to your property or the goods since the collection of the products will be done with due care and attention.
You agree to provide the partner with all the products you wish to return, including all parts and accessories that comprise them. Upon the collection of the returned products by the carrier, you will sign a pickup form to certify that the delivery to the carrier has been completed. The pickup form will be provided to you by the cooperating carrier/courier.
If you are unable to be present yourself during the pickup of the goods from the premises, you may appoint a representative to undertake this process on your behalf. This representative must be an adult capable of overseeing the pickup of your products on your behalf.


Refund of Value for Returned Products

If you meet the return conditions, we will refund you the amount corresponding to the value of the returned goods in the same manner you made the original transaction unless you wish for a different refund method, for which you must inform us in writing. The refund of the value of the returned products will be processed as soon as possible. In any case, it will be processed after you inform us in writing of the return request, and we accept their return, as well as if the products have been delivered to the cooperating transport/courier company. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal :

  • The supply of goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalized (Private Label Products).
  • The supply of goods which, after delivery, due to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other elements.

GENERAL

  • Force Majeure: In case of force majeure (e.g., adverse weather conditions, strikes, etc.) preventing us from delivering the products within the predetermined time frame, we will inform you via telephone or email. You will have the opportunity to inform us if you wish to proceed with the completion of your order under these circumstances. Our company assumes no responsibility for situations beyond its control and will do everything humanly possible to ensure your best service.
  • Missing Products: If you find that any product(s) are missing from your order upon delivery, please contact us so that we can address all necessary details and send you the missing products without any additional charge.
  • Modification of Terms: Our company reserves the right to modify or renew the terms and conditions of transactions. We undertake the obligation to update this document for any changes or additions to the terms.
  • Non-Delivery of Order: If you do not receive the ordered goods (and a considerable amount of time has passed since the order was placed), please contact our company. For better and faster service, we recommend providing the specific order code sent to the email address you provided during your order.

According to Directive 2013/11/EU, which was transposed into Greek law by Ministerial Decision 70330/2015 and Decision 31619 FEK 969/22.3.2017 (Article 8), the possibility of electronic resolution of consumer disputes is provided through the Alternative Dispute Resolution process throughout the European Union. If the Customer has an issue with a purchase made from the Online Store and resides in the EU, they can use the website https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/?event=main.home.show for out-of-court settlement of the dispute.
